1971 Plymouth Fury

1971 Plymouth Fury III. DOES NOT RUN. Perfect combination of parts, but needs complete restoration. Was originally a Hertz rental car from what I've been told. Not running, been sitting for 20 years, I have not tried to start it. Originally a 360 car, previous owner installed a '72 440 HP-code motor and 8 3/4" rear back in the 1980s. Previous owner said the running gear was rebuilt at that time, and received a bigger cam, 4.10 gears, and a sure-grip, but I haven't checked it myself. Has the desirable roof and glass, hard to find. Glass is in great shape, and it has the correct trim for a car without vinyl top- very hard to find. Vinyl top on this car was aftermarket junk and needs to go away. Interior is black, with a nice dash pad that is dirty, but not cracked. Rest of the interior needs restoration. Car was parked for 20 years in the weeds before coming to my house, and is full of mouse crap and mold. Missing door panel is in the back seat, but is moldy and warped, with a speaker hole in it. Does have emblems, etc. in a coffee can. Car does have some rust. I think the frame and floors are good, door shells are good, etc. Lower quarters have some of the usual rust, there is definitely some rust under the vinyl top, and there is surface rust in different places throughout. Trunk floor is very rough, but is probably savable. Paint and bodywork was done poorly, it has little dings and waves down both sides. Front bumper is slightly tweaked on top but I think it could be straightened, and the front valance is bent, but fixable. Has an extra rear valance in the trunk that I think is NOS (not sure why, the one on the car is good). I bought this thinking I could clean it up and drive it, but it needs more than that (or I'm too picky). I paid $3500 and would like to recover most of what I spent, as I just don't have time for this car right now. Good title signed off by previous owner. The red '72 Fury is also for sale (needs minor work, it's on craigslist), but the other vehicles are not. Please ask any questions before bidding. I would be willing to put a master cylinder on it to get the brakes working so it's easier to load on and off a trailer, but please remember that this is a NON-RUNNING PROJECT CAR if you're thinking of having it transported.
UPDATE: I've lowered the Buy-It-Now on this car to the same as the opening bid, so the first person who clicks buys the car. I will not be lowering the price further. I also will not be re-listing it after this week. A few years ago I sold a couple of cars and tried several times to sell another- which apparently counts towards "high volume seller status." They've now *permanently* labelled me a high-volume seller, which means they've already dinged me $50 just for this ad. Therefore I won't be listing it a second time, so if nobody takes it, I'll move it to the back of the house and keep it until I have more time to start restoring it.
