This Barracuda has a 340 V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission. The Transmission was just rebuilt 2014 and has very few miles on it.I've done a lot of work to this car and it looks and runs great.
I added the original front sway bar and after market rear sway for way better handling, 15inch Chrysler rally wheels and BF Goodrich white lettered tires. I also added heavy duty rear springs. Heavy duty torsion bars. This car has most of the Formula S upgrades accept for the badging and the tach which can both be purchased aftermarket. Under the hood, the 340 is bored .30 over and has a stock cam, new Edelbrock 600 cfm carb and anedelbrock performer intake manifold. In the rear is a 8 3/4 323 open rear end.The wiring harness is new and correct for the car. The dash bezel has been restored and painted and all the gauges rebuilt by redline gauges. New Dash pad and Seats have been restored. New carpet new headliner, re-chromed front and rear bumpers, polished rear upper quarter fin trim, new front windshield and much more. I'm received two Mopar of Merit awards at the Fall Fling and a First Place in 1960-66 A-Body at the larger Spring Fling at the Chrysler Performance West show in Woodley Park Van Nuys Ca. This car is a head turner for sure.
If you want to see more pictures, Ihave tons. Message me and I'll send you a link them.

I posted a picture of the fender tag. The front is painted over and hard to read so I took a picture of the back in a mirror to better see the tags letters. The decoding below is how the car originally came. Here is a little history on the car.
Lower case alphabet codesa 6 = Console
b 4 = Bucket Seatsp 6 = LH remote outside mirror
Upper case alphabet codes
AB 31 = 273 cid V8 2bblC 5 = Automatic transmissionR1 = 2 watt AM radio
Bottom Row
"SO NUMBER”, or Shipping Order Number, is the birthday of the car and shipping order number (all numbers are together) all we are really concerned about are the first 3 digits. The first 3 are the Birthday of the car, A = October, B = November, C = December, if there is a number for the first digit, than that is the month, 1 = January, 2 = February, etc..... The other 5 mean nothing as far as the car is concerned. So A11 would be October 11th, and 502 would be May 2nd.
In this cars case the SO NUMBER is B16 orNovember 16th which was a Tuesday in 1965. I'm assuming 1965 because I doubt they were still making 66 models byNovember of 1966
“BDY” is the body style or model of the car
BP29 Barracuda
“TRM” or Trim is the interior color
Blue Vinyl Codes: P4B
“PAINT” This section will be divided into 3 parts, the first part is “PAI” which is the exterior color of the car. The second part is “N”, which tell us if the car came with a stripe above the side glass on the roof or not, and the 3rd part is “T”, which tells us the color of the upper door frame paint on the inside of the front doors.
DD1 = Light Blue Metallic
Under the “T” for the upper inner door paint will be: (usually this is the color of the outside or the interior)
E = dark blue
The Vin number decodes like this:
