1971 Plymouth Road Runner

Up for auction is a really nice 1971 Plymouth Road Runner tribute. Car started out as a real FJ6 Sassy Grass Satellite. Car was completely disassembled down to every single nut and bolt. The 340 was completely rebuilt to factory specs, new pistons, cam, Eldelbrock Thunder series carb, original 71 340 hi po manifolds, etc...has power steering, power disc brakes, factory A/C which has been converted to R134, date coded wires, Mopar Performance electronic ignition, wiper motor incredibly restored by the late Jules and the radiator has been completely re-cored. Trans is a 727 also completely rebuilt. Exhaust is by Accurate. Steering column and box has also been restored. New fuel tank and stainless steel brake and fuel lines. Heater box has also been restored. Has the super rare "eyebrow" over the front bumper. Body was completely gone over, minor metal was replaced where needed, no mud here, all new weather-stripping installed. Professionally painted by Southern Body Works in Harwood, MD with the full decal package applied including the cool black out around the tail lights. The interior has the rally dash, tuff wheel, radio was reconditioned by Resto Radios and has the ipod/ satellite connection, console and new Legendary interior. Wheels are 15 X 7 on the front and 15 X 8 on the rear. Car only has 3,900 miles since it was restored. No shortcuts. Car has won first place many times, including Carlisle and was on display at Chrysler's at Carlisle's dealership display to celebrate 1971. Car was also featured in Muscle Car Review magazine with an article and made the cover. I havea lot of pics of the restoration if requested. Thanks for looking.
