Description:
1940 Packard 160
I am selling my 1940 Packard 160 Super 8. I bought the car from a buddy of mine a little while back. AllI have done to the car is put new points and condenseron it. This is a good running and driving car. It has thestraight 8 cylinder motor. It is an all original, unmolested car. The car is complete, the only thing that is missing is the glass piece in the hood ornament. The only rust on the car is just the little surface rust that every car has. The driver's side fenders have been painted and have started to crack, but the rest just seems to be all original. The interior is pretty good shape. The wood grain is cracking. I have no documentationbut the car was supposed to have been inthe movie "The Notebook". The car is being sold as-is. I have a clearSouth Carolina title.I reserve the right to end the auction early asit is for sale locally. If youarefromSouth Carolinaand purchase the vehicle then youwill have to pay sales tax to me, as Iplan to sale the car through my car lot. There is a $1000.00 deposit due within 24 hrs of auction end and the remaining amount is due within 7 days of auction end.(Noexceptions! I went through a problem with that last time I sold something.) Iwill only except cash in hand, cashiers check or wire transfer. If payment is made by wire transfer or cashiers check, I will release the vehicle as soon as the payment has cleared with mybank.
