1930 Packard 726

Up for sale is a 1930 Packard 726 Sedan. Originally purchased at Langhorne-Thomas & Co. in Berkeley, CA (plaque on dash) by M.G. Ennis, the car stayed in the same family, passing to his son, John Bernard Ennis in 1951. John Bernard Ennis then sold the car in 1974 to Robert Erwin Brown of San Leandro, CA. It stayed in the San Francisco Bay Area until 1997 when it was purchased by Ed Glick of Minden, NV and the restoration then began. This car's frame off restoration started in January 2005 and was finished in January 2006. She now resides back in the SF Bay area draped in gleaming chrome, Deep Maroon body color with black fenders and belt line with tan pin stripping and a completely re-built engine. The car starts every time with her new Optima 6 Volt battery. First crank brings the gas to the engine, second crank starts her up. There is a electric fuel pump installed for areas with cold weather. All manuals as well as the original spec sheet from the dealership on what options were exercised are included as is the photo album showing before, during and after restoration pictures. Also included is the original sales brochure showing all individual models of the 1930 Packard. The interior is done in tan and burgundy matching the exterior beautifully. All lights work, gas, ammeter, driving gauge, temperature, windshield wiper, etc., includes the spare radiator cap (standard) as well as the Goddess of Speed hood ornament. The car also has fog lights. The car is currently located in Novato, CA and is registered with an Alaskan Pink Slip where she was sent to be restored before returning to Nevada.
