This beautiful machine is powered by a 383cu.in. Small Block Chevy, opped off with a Hillborn fuel injection system that has been upgraded to modern computer control. There's also also electronic ignition by MSD. The transmission is the tried and true Muncie, with separate lever for reverse) turning a Winters Quick-Change differential out back.
Car #1 is painted in the striking Blue and White livery originally designed by the famed Von Dutch. When equipped with period disc brakes and an iron cylinder head engine, his Scarab has been approved by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association for its vintage track events.
