Vin 124677N213442 The Chevrolet Camaro is the one of the most iconic cars of the 1960's. Production began in 1967 and the cars were offered with a myriad of options from six cylinder engines to monster big blocks. These cars helped define the muscle car...era. Nothing did this better then the "big block" Camaros!! The car on offer here is one of the rarest of all Camaro variants. It is 1967 Camaro Pace Car convertible. One of only 43 "Festival" cars that were actually used in and around the Indianapolis during the month of May leading up to the 500 mile race. A letter from the second owner; "I bought this car in Huntington Beach, Ca in 1994. I had a 1982, 1967, 1993 and a 1997 Camaro that paced the Brickyard 400 in 1996. I was looking for a 67 when someone told me Steve Flanders- manager of Classic Camaro was driving one to work everyday. He was looking for a 69 pace car. At the tim i had 2, an automatic 350 and a 4-speed 350. I worked out a deal over the phone and sent him pictures of the 69 and drve the 69 automatic to CA in 1994. I gave him my 69 and $30,000 for the car. I drove the 67 home with no grill, black front fenders and no wipers.Sent to Micky Hale Restorations in 1996 for 8 years! Sold all of my pace cars in 2006 to buy Hemi Cuda's and LS-6 Chevelle. I now have 8 cars!"
