1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Up for sale is our 1951 Chevy pickup.
This '51 has the all the originality you're looking for, with today's reliable and modern drivetrain. It's powered by a 5.3LS engine out of a mid 2000's suburban that has been converted to carburetor so us old school guys know what we're working on. The 5.3 is matched up with a 350 turbo automatic transmission. It's all mounted on a 90's S10 frame and suspension. It's a crazy fun truck to drive... just enough power..... and gets more attention than the $50k truck your neighbor paid to have done.
Engine Specs:
5.3LS (unknown miles), Holley 4 barrel intake, Edelbrock carb, Holley electric fuel pump, MSD ignition, headers, power steering, aluminum radiator w/ electric auto fan, turbo 350 transmission, Lokar floor shifter .... all NEW components.
Chassis/Frame Specs:
S10 frame cleaned and painted black, suspension has all new ball joints/tie rod ends/sway bar bushings/idler arm/drop spindles/rotors/wheel bearings/brake calipers and pads/brake lines (rubber and metal)/fuel lines/18gal fuel tank, 2 1/2" exhaust off the headers leading to great sounding mufflers that dump just behind the cab. It all sits on a set of 18" black steel wheels and chrome baby moon covers - 16x8" on rear and 16x7" on the front, and all with new westlake tires. This thing sits PERFECT. Just the right amount of aggressive stance. No goofy looking wheelbase or spacing issues.
Body Specs:
Body is mounted with a Code 504 chassis kit. Every panel is mounted solid and fits right. No shakes, rattles or rolls on any of them. This truck has just the right amount of patina. Cab's been completely sealed from the inside out, leaving the "rust holes" visible on the outside, but keeping the dust dirt and sound out from the inside - cab, toe boards, inner cowl, cab corners patched and sealed. Box bed floor has been replaced with older wood and raised for tire clearance. Front fenders reinforced. New glass all the way around, tinted, and with new weatherstripping.
Interior:
Dash hasn't been touched...still contains some old school patina and conversation pieces. Seat suspension is all original, but has been recovered in a fitting brown vinyl. Doors have newer panels (match the seat color), headliner is new, black carpet is new as well. All original gaugeshave been left in place and are functional (speedo takes a bit to catch up). Aftermarket temp and oil pressure gaugesadd to the convenience. Heater is original and works (one high speed only). Wiper vacuum motor is in tact, but not hooked up.
Electrical:
All new wiring, front to back, top to bottom. All lights work as they should. Stop/turn and brake lights all function perfectly. Heck, even the dash gauges light up at night. All courtesy of a Speedway Motors wiring kit.
Guys.... get in it and drive it - nothing needs to be done. Get more attention than the big dollar rebuilds. Park in every parking lot in town and not sweat the first door ding. She's fun, fast and reliable. It was bought as is from the builder in Missouri that has built 10 so far. The guy does great work, cuts no corners and knows what he's doing. It's a truck we'd love to keep, but we're full of cars and out of space - something has to go. We have about 500+ miles since buying and have absolutely no issues. Only reason in selling is need more garage. Reserve is set fair - and no, no need for us to share. Bid to win it.
We'll take a $500 NON refundable deposit within 48 hours that can be paid via PayPal, but the remaining MUST be paid in Cash and Cash only. No paypals, checks or bank wires. Ask your wife and your great grandmother before you bid. Any questions, feel free to reach out through an eBay message, we'd be happy to provide a number for you to call and ask any questions. We'd be happy to help.
