1985 Other Makes FX4

This is an FX4, he model manufactured by Carbodies from the mid 50's through early 90's. A factory-made Left-hand drive, his car was imported to the US new in 1985, inus the engine and transmission, nd was fitted with a new Ford 2300 cc gasoline engine and automatic transmission (from a Ranger) for use as a taxi in the US...the rest of the car is all original British parts and equipment. The meter is US made and does not have the sending unit, o it's decorative only. I bought the car at auction 5 years ago. After spending 2+ years cleaning it up, t's been my day to day in-city transportation for the last three years, hough I didn't drive it in the winter. It did not require major work, ut in the course of the clean-up, t got new brakes, ew carb and distributor, oses, elts, lugs, tc. The engine runs well and starts easily. I'm selling because I've taken a job overseas and cannot take the taxi with me. It's a really fun round-town car, un to drive and makes a big splash wherever you go.
