We replaced the front right fender and did some touch up work to the exterior. Aside from a few small cracks in the grill this thing is in tip top condition.Previous owner really put some time and work into this beauty.
This AMX has won several awards at car shows & was ADP's car of the month.
From ADP's Website:
"Our May Car of the Month belongs to Dave. Dave writes: "I've owned this car for nearly 30 years, nd have retained the original window sticker, wner's manual and warranty card. My AMX was taken off the road more than 24 years ago, nowing some day I would restore it. Recently I've restored my numbers matching AMX. In the last 3 years I've spent almost every day planning or working on my car. This past summer I've shown the car three times, ncluding the New England Classic AMX Club Show, nd received a 1st place every time! It helps to validate the time, oney, nd work that goes into a project of this size. I realize this would not be possible without the support of my family, riends, nd vendors like American Parts Depot."
Dave continues: "My AMX is a 390 GO PACK car with a 4 spd transmission. Repainted to the original Golden Lime Green/Shadow Black code 90/08, t was a weekend warrior in the late 70's, ut pretty much a trailer queen now. The car has low mileag, nly 27,280 original miles, ut was driven and street raced hard, s owning an AMC, ou always had to humble the other BIG THREE owners. The motor is original but was recently rebuilt by my brother, cott, nd myself after I had the crank and rods balanced. The engine had the white stripe cam and late model year heads with the larger exhaust valves. The car's interior code, -036L, s brown leather, hich was all brought back to original condition including the AM radio. The drive train is a B/W T-10 with a Hurst 4 spd shifter and twin grip with 3.54 gears. Dave ends by saying: "This car is extremely rare to see in the northeast and a real show stopper at the car shows. The golden lime paint with the shadow mask hood, orque thrust wheels and dealer installed options like trendsetter side pipes...........ya just gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!"

A real treat to drive - this AMX goes down the road nice and tight with plenty of punch behind the throttle. It looks and drives like a brand new car! With a manufacture date of 7/1970 it was one of a small batch for the month ofJuly- only 24 during the month. Own a piece of history as these cars become rarer and rarer.

The build date of 7/70 might be off - I've been told its a March car based on the VIN # - I went by the tag on the door.
