1929 Ford Model A

For sale: 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hotrod
Unfortunately, I have to sell my pride and joy. I spent six years building this car and I finished it about three years ago. I've been having a blast and driving it nearly everyday. I had one kid and was able to keep it, but now my wife is one month away from our second child, so it's a sad day, but it's time to sell it and let someone else enjoy this car. WARNING: this car is insanely fast! The car weighs next to nothing and the motor has 400 horsepower. And it's a real hotrod with a 4 speed, not some sad automatic.
I wanted this car to be safe, well, as safe as an old hotrod could be, so the entire body has an integral roll-cage built into it.
ENGINE: The motor has zero miles on it when I built the car. It probably has around 8,000 miles on it now. It's a 350ci small block chevy. It is balanced, blueprinted, has high-compression pistons, a racing cam that gives it a good lope, aluminum heads, a dual quad intake with brand new carbs, and zoomie lakes-style headers. New mallory distributer with electronic ignition.
Transmission: T-10 four speed
Rearend: Ford 8.8 with 3:73 gears and a Posi-traction. Both tires break loose into pretty much every gear. No peg-legging, one wheeled burnouts here. Mounted on two coil shocks.
Chassis: The frame is built of 2"X3" steel tubing 3/16th's thick. The body-cage is 1 1/2" steel at .125" wall thickness. This chassis is bullet proof. The car looks like it sits really low, but I've never scraped over any speed bumps or anything. Even if it did, nothing hangs lower than the frame, so it's safe to go over anything. The front end is a ford straight axle with f-100 drum brakes, backing plates drilled and chromed for a little extra stopping power.
Misc:-Aluminum 3 core radiator with two electric fans. Never overheats.-New interior-RPI racing seatbelts-16" Ford steelies all the way around with hubcaps. Firestone big and little bias ply tires.
This is the world's funnest car to drive. Ready to be driven TODAY! Not perfect, but who actually drives a car like it should be driven after getting a $10,000 paint job on it.
