THE BAD***
Spun ROD Bearing on number six. Crank may be repairable but no guarantees.
Cause at this point was that a rod bolt must have stretched and lost torque and it shattered the bearing. I was driving when it happened.
Fenders on drives have cracks on both sides, may be repaired or replaced.
Wheels are bud but in great shape with a few replacements.
AC is not attached but parts are there in order to re install.
Power steering line has a leak.
Truck was driven by me since last Feb. over the road. I bought it after it had been sitting for 15 years approx. and I put it right to work on the road. I did a RIG DIG report ( Carfax for semis) and it turned up a pretty light history on this trucks life. It has had its issues that I have addressed along the way mostly from normal OTR wear and tear. Was a great runner before rod bearing went out. I would rebuild myself and continue but legal issues have caused my life to take a turn and I will be getting out of the trucking industry sooner than I had hoped. This truck is a rare find anymore as you know the 359 has been a collector truck for some years now. A little TLC with the fenders and maybe some more polishing and obviously a new motor now this truck is a serious head turner. This truck in running condition would make a nice OTR truck, an awesome farm truck or a really ho, head turning pulling truck if someone wanted a project. Please Call before any bidding.
