1930 Other Makes S model
Up for sale is my 1930 Hupmobile Century Six Sedan, partly restored. The frame and suspension have been sandblasted and powder coated, the straight six flat head engine, 3 spd trans, drive shaft and differential have been rebuilt at a professional restoration shop, i have all the receipts for the drive line work totaling over 14K, starter and generator were also rebuilt. The gas tank has been flushed and sealer installed along with a new sending unit, wheels have been restored and have new GF Goodrich tires and tubes, also have new spare tire and tube not installed. The engine has not been started since it was rebuilt, it still needs carburetor, distributor and water pump installed. The mechanical brakes work good, The rear floor pan has been replaced (steel) under the rear seat, the rest of the floor is wood and two of the boards should be replaced, easy repair. The wiring is original and should be replaced not a big job for about 12 or so wires. The body is straight with no rust, but it will need a paint job, originally the car was a cream color but was painted black at some point. It has been stored inside for the past 12 years, but it will need a new top and interior because the original material deteriorated over 86 years, the front seat is in perfect condition, there is a few things that i do not have, wiper motor (trico), running boards, left rear sill plate and the correct front bumper, also the right front door glass is broken. I have a NJ title from the previous owner, i never had the title transferred. This car needs someone to finish the restoration work and enjoy it, I do not have time to finish it myself. If you have any questions please ask and i will answer them as quick as possible. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 24 hour and if paying balance by check it must clear before vehicle can leave.Buyer is responsible for shipping and there is no warranty, I'am listing this car locally so auction may end early.
