1947 Other Makes SCThis is my 1947 Diamond T Cabover truck......It was a fun project to do but I need someone to put their finishing touches on it.
The truck spent its whole life on a Montana farm and unfortunately the family I purchased the truck from couldn't find the title but I can provide a bill of sale. Older vehicles here in Connecticut do not require a title. I'll help in any way I can for your state.
The small amount of rust that was on the truck was repaired and the entire truck was sandblasted clean. Z-chrome primer-ed and then I tried that Flatz rat rod type paint. If you don't like the color I think it would make a great primer for your color choice.
The motor & transmission I put in was out of a 50,000 mile 1973 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Lots of torque and about 350 horse power. All mounted behind the cab. No smoke, strong as an ox, my dad would say the this truck climbs hills good.
Entirely new brake system all around including a new booster......the truck stops on a dime.
New glass all around, new fuel tank, new electric fans, new dash gauges, new trans shifter, new battery, brand new tires.
Chassis is the original that was sandblasted and then painted.
Truck still needs some finishing.........some wiring to the head lights etc. Truck needs your bed choice and you can put in a flat floor in the cab if you like because the motor is out of the way.
All the hard work has been done and its a cool truck you can add your style too.
I will help load your shipper with any type of truck or trailer he shows up with.
Ebay took my listing down because the truck was mis categorized sorry for the confusion
