1967 Amphicar 770 Convertible Largely original 1967 Amphicar with only 9. 22 actual miles! It has been collector kept nearly all its life being utilized only sparingly! In 1962. an American auto manufacture joined up with a German manufacture to produce the first factory built. public dual-purpose vehicle for land and water use. The company was Amphicar and the Model 770 was born. It was a street legal convertible. and a water ready boat all in one! Manufactured in small quantities each year from 1961 through 1965. only 3. 78 were said to have been when manufacturing stopped. Late production examples were titled in the year they were first sold & registered. so finding 1966-1968 examples can be common. All of which are now extremely rare and highly prized collectibles!
