1970 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass Supreme 442/W30 Convertible Clone

.I am down sizing my collection due to not having much time to enjoy them all. This is our family ice cream getter. It turns heads and gets thumbs ups and horns honking almost every time we drive it. It was born a Cutlass Supreme Convertible as you 442 guys can tell from the 34267 VIN number and the Cutlass Supreme call out on the dash board. Some one restored this car a number of years ago and recreated it into a 442/W30 clone. They did a great job It was repainted in code 75 Matador Red with painted on white stripes and a white top. It has the highly desirable pearl white interior with the bucket seats and floor console. The paint still shines well and the interior was redone 6 years ago. The top is also in terrific condition and works properly. This car has every option you could ever want in a muscle car back in the day. Its a Rocket 455/4bbl big block with the correct 396021 F casting numbers but this is NOT a matching numbers vehicle. It has the TH400 automatic transmission with the Hurst Dual Gate shifter and a 12 Bolt Posi 3.23 Ratio with the aluminum W27 differential cover .Born with A/c but compressor was removed years ago when it started making noises. The rest of the components are intact but the compressor I think was tossed out years ago. I will leave that to the next owner of this vehicle to correct. It has power windows, tilt 4 Spoke 442 steering whee, Ralley dash cluster with tic tock tac. Note the gauges are clear and functional. Yes even the tac and clock work properly. Steel framed W25 RAM-Air Hood, original 442 RAM-Air cleaner, Whale tail Spoiler, tinted glass, power steering and power disc brakes (up front),power convertible top, white parade boot, chrome door edge guards, clam shell side sport mirrors,15" Super Stock Wheels with the BFG radials, Dual gate Hurst shifter, Correct Chrome Trumpet exhaust tips with the correct cutout rear bumper. It has everything in place to recreate the W30 look with the exception of the red inner fender wells. It has all the correct decals and emblems as if it was born this way from mother Oldsmobile but at a FAR cheaper price. I enclosed a photo of the literature I have for this car also. The trunk floor and rear quarter panels have been replaced correctly and have great wheel lip edges and are hung straight. The stripes were done very well and are straight also as you can see in the photos. This is NOT a Barrett-Jackson Piece or Museum quality convertible. It is an excellent driver that you can actually use and enjoy. There are a few imperfections in the paint and some shrinkage over the years but as I stated it shines very well and is definitely a head turner. When was the last time you saw one of these cool rides? The front end has new components and the brakes lines and other brake parts were just replace. A full tune up was just performed also. It has an AM/FM/CD player in the dash and 4 speakers in the car for your cruising pleasure. Personally I like sound of the dual exhaust better. The odometer works as it should and reads 06347 so I am assuming that it has rolled over once. The title is clean and clear and in hand. I have a lift at my home so if you want to come and check it out in person we can put her up in the air to view the underside. It has solid frame rails and floors etc. it is very nice underneath. No weak spots in the common convertible areas. These cars go up in value almost every year and there is still plenty of time left to cruise in it this season. I will answer any/all questions and send pics of anything you would like. I am selling this car AS IS/WHERE IS so please come view it in person or send someone you trust to look at it if you wish. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I have it for sale locally as well. Please contact me at 413 537 2433 (Michael) if you have any questions. I will gladly help in any way possible with shipping or any other arrangements. If you win the auction contact me to set up wire transfer or cash in hand as I do not like PAYPAL. Thank you and HAPPY BIDDING. Oh one last thing if you need to speak with your wife, mother, dog, or priest, PLEASE do so before bidding on my car. I do not like time wasters. THANKS AGAIN.
