1953 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight

here is a 1953 oldsmobile super 88 4 door. Car has 43,600 original miles on it with the stock 303ci engine.exhaust is new and straight out to the stainless lakes pipes. 3 speed hydramatic transmission.all new brake lines /flex line, new wheel cylinders, tredalvac power brake unit rebuilt 2 years ago. All new gas lines with holley blue electric fuel pump. Front tries are new coaker classic bias plys with no more than 200 miles on them. Stock rear differential ( gear ratio unknown) front end has cut coils (1 loop around) and stock knee action shocks. Rear suspension is 2 leafs removed each side with 5" lowering blocks, and 2 dual convoluted air bags. Air management system is dual viair compressors to a 5 gallon aluminum tank.air valves are electric 3/8 inch fill and dump valves are 1/2 inch controlled by the switches in ash tray as well as a compressor on /off switch. Ride hight changes 4 inches when air is dumped out. Car is chopped 4 inches in the front and laid down for look in the rear.doors are all still functional and jambs painted to match body. Rear glass is plastic and front windshield is cracked. I do have all front and rear windsheild trim piece for car. Taillights are 1955 chevy. Headlights are frenched and have 1955 hudson trim rings. Front bummper is a stock reworked with cadillac bullets. Drivers door has door popper button shaved into door side trim. Tons of extra parts and taken of parts come with the car as dose a weiand. Tricarb intake. Rear of trunk floor is rotted out and wil need replacement. No other major rot.

Car is unfinished but runs and drives great.

Car has been to customs by the sea in New Jersey for the race of gentleman show. Also includes huge back log of old registrations, and work done to the car and all original sales items and owners manual and service manual that came with this car when purchased new.
