Description:

1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Here is a fully restored and rust-free Oldsmobile Cutlass S. Starting in 1972; the 442 became a trim option on the “S” Coupe rather than it’s own model. The Rocket 350 would have been the standard engine on the “S” or the 442. Without the original paperwork; there is no way to tell if a 1972 Cutlass is a real 442 or not.

Although this one is not an original 442; it does have all the correct items including the 442 hood with louvers, 42 front grills, ut-out rear bumper, rumpet exhaust tips, nd all the correct 442 emblems and stripes. During the restoration; the car also received headers, new fuel tank and air shocks

This Olds is powered by a strong Rocket 350 V-8 and 4-BBL carburetor that was completely rebuilt during the restoration. This car runs very well with no smoke or sputtering. The Turbo 350 automatic transmission shifts perfectly in and out of gear.

This car retains its original bucket seat interior with a console shift. The vinyl seats are in great shape, nd show only minimal signs of wear. The head liner is completely intact, nd is in great shape with no sagging or tears. There was also a Vintage Sun tach added into the dash.

The car is sitting on a set of correct SSi wheels with raised white letter BFGoodrich Radial tires.

I also have the original Protect-O-Plate and Broadcast Sheet.

This is a great looking and running Cutlass for the money!
