1975 Oldsmobile 88 Convertible
Low Mileage Survivor. 100% Rust Free Car.
This Olds 88 was originally from Fort Pierce, Florida. It was ordered new by the Oldsmobile dealership as a demo car and spent most of its life in storage. It appears that the original license plate is still on the back bumper. About 10 years ago, we found this car in a barn about 20 miles from Green Bay, Wisconsin (see picture). We sold it to a local car collector, who parked it in a heated garage for the last 10 years. We recently received the car back in on trade.
The car runs and drives as if it were new. It has been freshly serviced with a new brake master cylinder and four new white wall tires. The AC was serviced and blows cold air. The heater functions. All the gauges work, however the radio and clock do not. Includes original exhaust, original jack, owner's manual, and build sheet.
The paint and interior are original. The body is in excellent condition and shows no signs of damage or repair. The chrome and stainless are in excellent condition. The paint looks good, however there is some deterioration of the paint on the hood center and outer front edges. The original interior is nearly flawless. The convertible top appears to be original. Underneath the car is solid and 100% rust-free. Please see pictures.
