1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic Series 88 4-Door Sedan

This '49 Oldsmobile runs and drives, has the original 303 Oldsmobile Rocket V8 engine and 4-speed Hydra-Matic transmission, the original Metal Gray paint, and the original upholstery. It was last on the road in 1988, but the brakes have just been rebuilt.

It is currently running off of a small gas can under the hood because the fuel system has not yet been cleaned out (see photos).

It has never been in a salt environment so there is no rust other than some surface rust on the bumpers& paint andsome normal corrosion in the floor pans and trunk from weatherstrip leakage. Other than that, it is rust free.

The paint is peeling on the left rear door and quarter panel (see photos) and this is likely old paintwork that was done long ago. The tires don't match and should be replaced.

The car is in Lynchburg, Virginia, the title was lost, and will be sold with a Bill of Sale.
