Description:

1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass

I am selling this car for my Dad (also titled in my name). He purchased it in 1997. This Olds is a Hurst 455 Ram Air. This is one of the 279 hardtops that were made in 1972 with the Official Pace Car Indianapolis 500 detailing on the sides. The car runs smoothly and is only driven to car shows and parades. It has been garage kept since 1997. Only has 32,951 original miles. Everything on the car is original (all identification numbers match)with the exception of the ignition coil and distributor, which was just recently replaced. The originals were kept for preservation of the original pieces, and are in the trunk of the car. It does need a window washer reservoir which can be purchased for approximately $25-$30.00. The Landau vinyl top is still in good condition but has some bubbling at the bottom. Please see the pictures. We priced the replacement for a Landau top for $159.99 but didn't replace because we didn't want to take away from the originality of the car.
The interior is in excellent condition. The driver side seat has a small area where the seam has come loose on the back of the seat where your back rests. I've also included that picture.
The original owners manual, consumer information book, emission control systems booklet, and protect-o-plate is still with the car. The Special Hurst/Olds Pace Car badging is on the glove box door and the W-45 coding is on the cowl tag identifying it as an original 1972 edition manufactured in Lansing, Michigan. In very good condition and runs great. Being sold as is. All sales are final with no returns.
