1970 Oldsmobile 442

I bought this car in 2006 knowing then, that it was a true, rust free, 442 4 speed, and that someone attempted to clone the car into a W30 way back in 1986. It was in a magazine called Muscle Car Jamboree, Guide to Muscle Cars, October, 1987 issue. We've come a long way since then and clones weren't very common so I guess the magazine guys didn't know any better. When I got the car, it came to me as it is today, only the W30 emblems remain. But this car is a solid true factory 442 4 speed with only the smallest traces of rust starting on the the front quarters as pictured. Looking closer, I think it was repaired with a very small amount of bondo way back when. The car does appear to be completely rust free everywhere else even when you look closely with the car raised on a lift. The factory paint color, Sherwood Green, one repaint I believe, again back in 1986 or so, shows some cracking and age patina but still looks great and I always get compliments. I believe it's a 1968 455, an M21 Muncie 4 speed trans, and a 3:42 rear gear. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, and stops great. New tires, fresh carb rebuild, trans adjusted, fresh oil, wax, etc... Someone cut the dash before I got it so I'm also including a nice replacement for the radio area. Newer gas tank, W27 rear end cover. The passenger front seat has two seams separating as seen in the pics. This is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. No trades, no scams, bid to own. Questions? John @Three one zero, seven zero nine five five six one. Thanks for looking!
