Every car has a story, This 1970Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremehas always been aSunny Californianative. February 2, 1970 was an existing day for Mr. & Mrs. EdwardsofSan Francisco,California. They knew it was time for a new car. So they decided to drive their 1966 Mustang to their localVan Ness Oldsmobile dealership in San Francisco, California. They were greeted by their salesman Mr. Barbieri, and, after a quick look, they fell in love with this 1970 OldsmobileCutlass Supreme sitting inside the dealership. The original window sticker which “I have” was $4,217.72. The excitement rose and the decision was made to trade in their 1966 Ford Mustang for $750 dollars and purchase this 1970 Cutlass Supremeon February 2, 1970. Mr. & Mrs. Edwards both fell in love with this1970Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and took official delivery and created many memories ever since, now it’s your turn!

This1970 Cutlass waspurchasedfrom the original owner’s estate. The current mileage is showing 56,515, which could be original or may have turned over, you can be the judge. Good news is, we have the original window sticker, original pink slip, protecto plate, original nostalgic period correct magazine ads, and more! As many car enthusiasts know,an old car's history prior to your ownership can be as important as a government contract. It’s next to impossible to find a car like this with all its documentation. This1970Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremeisvery original and honestthru-out. Still has all its original sheetmetal, very solid, straight body. The interior is believed to be all original, the Headliner, door-panels, dash, seats, carpet, look impressive for being almost 47 years old and untouched.

This1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supremehas always been garaged. This is an example of a timeless, rare classic that will always retain its value and is an appreciating blue chip investment! The car’s value has almost tripledin value in the past few years, and will continue to do so,not many investments can appreciatelike this one WILL! Overall this 1970 Cutlass Supremeis a beast of a survivor, and cooler than most we ever see on the market, and very capable of being dialed to a show quality standard!

Mechanically, itruns and drives great, it still has its correct rocket 350ci engine and Turbo 350 transmission. Thanks to Oldsmobile’s Rocket350ci V8, it shared exactly zero components with the Chevy version, and thanks to its higher nickel content in the iron block, it has proven to be virtually indestructible and extremely reliable over many decades. Best part is, it has a distinctive sound in a unique class of its own. Lastly, all the lights, blinkers, and even the original stereo works great.

The car gets LOTS of attention, so please be prepared to talk to everyone that encounters the car. In fact,I recently picked up my Aunt Jane, and took her to a local car show, and the reactions were overwhelming, my Aunt loved allthe attention as she has always lived that celebrity lifestyle. In fact, I dropped her off at Bingo later that evening andthe car was a total HIT! At the car show,I was told by a few Oldsmobile enthusiastshow rare and desirable the Rallye Red color code is, it really accentuates the beautiful body lines, and ties together so nicely having the factory white vinyl interior and white vinyl top.

Good news is the car is reallydry, with minor cancer spots the size of a pencil at the bottoms of the fender and quarter panel. It has some very minorcancer bubblesunder the vinyl top on the edge, again these are very small the size of a pencil eraser, most people wouldn’t notice but I strive to tell all details. This isnothing serious, and wouldbe easy to repair ifdesired. The undercarriage will surprise you with how clean and dry it is. There arezero sheetmetel repairs to this car. The frame is solid & excellent throughout. It has a few small minor nics & scratches, small dings, it has a minor indentations on the hood, after all its47 years old and unrestored. The car was painted once in its life and still looks great for a driver. Please understand, this is not a restored 1970 Cutlass Supreme, just a nice SOLID, HONEST, SURVIVOR to be enjoyed. In my opinion, I would drive and enjoy as is, if it was restored, which would be easy, it would be the Best candidate to start with.

Factory options include: As per window sticker,Born inSunny Fremont California Built: A02 Tinted Windshield, DLX seat and shoulder belts, Chrome door edge moldings, vinyl roof, RC outside mirror, sport console, power disc brakes, rocket 350ci engine, Turbo 350 automatic transmission, emission control system, power steering, super stock rally wheels, whitewall tires, interior operated hood latch, deluxe radio, rear speaker, special paint code Rallye Red, (As indicated on the original window sticker)
