Description:

1967 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass Supreme

1967 Oldsmobile 442: This car was parked in dry storage in 1993 and sat in storage until 2015.
The Engine:
Original 400ci engine: Original block and heads, I have the original intake manifold. The following is new since 2015.both carburetors have been completely rebuiltNew Air filtersNew fuel filtersMallory electronic ignition moduleMallory distributer capSpark plug wiresthermostatfuel tank & straps3/8" fuel linesCarter electronic fuel pumpBatterytransmission vacuum modulatervacuum hoses changed
The previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt in 1991, and it has about 6,500 miles since build. I was told told the two 525cfm Carter Carbs were off a vette engine(s). I looked up carb serial numbers and it does come up as a 1965 corvette 327 auto carb(s). The engine has a aggressive cam, headers, Mallory ignition, Accel coil. it sounds great and is quite fast. It cruises really nice at 70mph at about 2800 rpm. It shifts great, runs very good, and does not overheat, also has great oil pressure.
The Transmission:
original TH400 Automatic transmission w/shift kit and stall. I am guessing the stall converter is about 3000rpm.
The Chassis
I believe the rearend is original.4 wheel drum brakes-work welldual exhaust & Headers is in great condition with turbo mufflers (great exhaust tone)suspension pretty much original
The Body
Car does have some rust in rear quarters, rockers, surface rust spots here in some areas, and trunk pan is rusty, The floor boards are solid no holes. the driver rear quarter and inner wheel well was changed years ago.tires are older, left them on to keep nostalgic look..they do not leak a bit of and have tread left on them.
The Interior
the drivers bucket seat has tears in bottom cushion, no radio, headliner has two small holes about the size of a quarter in the back. All gauges work.
fun driver, I drive it about once a week
