Description:

1990 Nissan 300ZX

Up for sale is my 1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo with a 5 speed manual transmission. I have owned this vehicle for ~4 years and have put roughly 8k miles on the car. I have put roughly 750 miles on the car in the past week spending my final days with the vehicle :) For the most part she was garage kept during my ownership. The car was recently dyno'd on 7/28/2018 and produced 555 HP at the wheels on 93 Octane with 18.5 lbs of boost. It had three separate dyno pulls within 20 minutes. They were 555, 555 and 556 HP to the wheels. The torque was 441.9, 441.6 and 447.6. In 2016 it dyno'd a little over 600 HP at Dynosty in Louisville KY. This is an extremely fun and powerful vehicle. The car will let loose on you very easily. I do not recommend this vehicle for young or inexperienced drivers. The reason for selling is because I am moving onto a GTR.
This car has a fully built engine with roughly 7k-10k miles on the engine. The turbos are the GT675RS Turbos from Z1 Motorsports. The exhaust includes AMS Ceramic Coated manifolds, 3" Downpipes, 3" test pipes with an AEM Uego Wideband on the drivers side (I will include an additional one for the passengers side that is not installed) and a 3" Specialty Z Sebring catback exhaust. Engine mods include JWT Wild Cams (these are noisy in the lower rpm range). The head is ported and polished along with the lower intake. I have over $40,000 worth of receipts between my ownership and the previous owners throughout the years of various parts installed (I will include every receipt I can find).
The car runs off of a Haltech Platinum Sport 2000 standalone that replaces the factory ECU. The factory MAF system is replaced with the Haltech MAP system with a 3 bar sensor. The car runs roughly 16-18 lbs of boost normally on 93 octane.
The car has roughly 126,000 miles on the body but was repainted by its previous owner. The paint has a few small chips but overall looks really sharp. We did some touch up paint under the hood on top of the fender wells just this week also. It turned out really nice. There are a few rock chips on the vehicle- one on the drivers door and a couple near the antennae come to mind.
The interior was redone a few years back and looks great. The seats are black with red stitching- they look and feel amazing. The shift book, ebrake boot, steering wheel, arm rests on the door and also center console all are the black leather with red stitching. It does have some slight wear on the drivers side seat and minimal wear on the passengers side. Overall I would probably rate the interior as an 9 out of 10 for a vehicle this age. The plastic panels in the hatch have some scuff marks on them but overall look very well. I believe the carpet was replaced along with the floor mats and the hatch carpeting. I replaced the amp cover in the rear. It is slightly off in color from the other carpet which seems almost pitch black- it is not too noticeable though. There are 3 Gauges in the drivers side A Pillar- Up at the top is the AEM UEGO Wideband for the drivers side exhaust, the middle is an AEM Electronic boost gauge and the bottom is currently an AEM voltage gauge. I will include a second AEM UEGO Wideband for the passengers side. I purchased this recently just have not installed it. It has an AVC-R with the low boost I believe is set around 16 psi and high boost being around ~18-18.5 psi.
The bad: The only real negative I had with the car was that the previous owner pulled the AC system. He pulled the compress, condensor and the lines. Luckily you can still purchase these items from Z1 if you wish to install AC back onto the vehicle. The car is getting an alignment performed on 8/2/2012 and recently had it's oil changed. It could use new tires as the old ones are worn around the edges where the tires rubbed. The current rims on the vehicle are 18 x 8.5
