Description:

1941 Nash Ambassador 600 3 PASSENGER W/ Rear Bed

Available for your consideration is a 1941 Model 4142 Ambassador 600 2 door coupe powered by a flat head overhead valve 234.8 cubic inch 105 hp engine with a manual shift transmission. This is a 2 owner vehicle the 2nd owner has had this car since 1969 and that is the last time this car was street driven. Engine turns freely and have no reason to believe with new fuel and a complete tuneup this vehicle should fire of course you need to do all the requirements first of a car that has sat since 1969 like flushing fuel tank, new lines and a complete tuneup with fresh oil...This is a very solid, restorable vehicle. Amazing how solid this Nash is. Floorboards are all there and strong.. Trunk floor strong with no issues. Inner rockers strong with some rust on bottom edges, outer rockers do have a hole on each side but very solid all around and easy to patch. The body is in very good condition I would personally replace all 4 fenders where the fenders mount on inner body all metal with no issues. You really need to come see this car to appreciate it. Super solid. Replace the fenders and you could restore in no time, would make a great Rod as well. Cowl, inner fenders inside trunk all solid...If at all possible please come look at this car to appreciate how solid it is. If you can not please look over the pictures..Serious buyers can send more of underneath you will not be disappointed. Car is in need of a major restoration all brake lines, drive train all gone through as well as brakes and suspension this car has sat since 1969..Would be a solid beautiful car done...The inside is all original and still in pretty good shape. This is a 3 passenger vehicle the back where normally a seat is, has a little bed.. The Model 4142 had no rear seat. You could drive all day for business and spend the night in your car as you traveled very unique...Not certain how rare but I never seen that before and they made screens to go in the side windows. I do not have them. This car has many good points as I said the body is so very solid....The interior is decent but I would restore, the car is all intact...Spare in place which is in amazing shape and the jack assembly is complete. Issues are fenders are rough. The car has not been ran since 1969. The fuel system will need completely gone through and even possibly a new tank or have it treated. Has not been started in years... The good is the potential is unlimited an extremely solid car...I have a clear Ohio title. If you have any questions please ask and will do my best to answer. Priced to sell....A great cheap Project....Awesome to make an Old School Rat rod. We will assist in helping load the vehicle on a trailer....
