The Good:Runs fantastic. Zero known mechanical issues.New clutch in April 2018.New aftermarket wheels with brand new Riken Raptor Z rated tires. (I still have the original wheels if the buyer wants, but they've seen better days)Zero rust and no major damage anywhere in or out.Interior VERY clean for the age. Some minor splitting on the vinyl next to the rear seat and some wear on the gear shift knob, but that's about it. Very much above average for a 91 3000GT.A/C is ICE cold. Blew 36 degrees yesterday with 99 degree ambient temps.
Heat is very hot.ECU has been recapped and comes with a spare recapped ECU (If you know anything about these cars, you know this is a major issue)ECS Suspension computer has been recapped as well. All electronics work in the vehicle.
Factory stereo with EQ and factory aux input and steering wheel controls work well.Just had paint correction and full detail done on vehicle, looks fantastic.
Drives excellent. Transmission shifts smooth with no grinds or noise.
Suspension is still tight.Timing belt replaced at 164kBrand new coils and spark plugs in May 2018
The not so good:Car is 27 Years old - Has some wear:There are rock chips on the bumper and hood. I tried to capture this in the picture. The black trim around the hatch has faded and likely would need to be repainted if the next owner wanted that.
The vinyl trim around the drivers window seat is worn. It's a common issue, most people peel it off and just spray the chrome black. The paint on the spoiler has oxidized. It doesn't look terrible, but even after a paint correction still shows some oxidation.
The passenger side fog light lens has cracked. I have been looking for a new one, but have not found one yet.The Power antenna was a victim of a car wash, and has snapped off. The radio still works fine, but is missing the mast.
Burns a small amount of oil - I'm not sure i've ever seen a 3.0 Mitsubishi without some oil consumption, but this is VERY minor, It uses less than half a quart between changes.
Overall, this is the cleanest early 3000GT i've seen in years. It looks excellent from 5 feet and I get comments on it all the time. I hate to let it g, but I've got way too many cars and no space to store them or time to give them the love they deserve.
Clean title in my name in my hand. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car ANYWHERE, mechanically it is the most reliable car in my collection. Prices have been wildly varying on these, and I have set my reserve very low for the condition of the car, as it needs to go.
Ebay limits me to 24 pictures. If there is anything else you'd like to see, don't hesitate to message me, or if you're local and would like to drive it let me know.
