1950 MG T-Series

Was sitting in a dry heated garage since 1991, nd driven only little before that...believed to be only two owners until now, nd no reason to think the odometer is not accurate, he car is in lovely shape, ot worn out, t's certainly not a 117000 mile car, o way, ook at the photos. It required little to get it running, new battery and a new solid-state SU fuel pump, nd a new master cylinder and brake distribution block to get brakes. It is still leaking at one line, ut that should be adressed before you pick up the car, he parts are on order. It starts instantly and runs beautifully, hifts through all the gears with no noise, lutch is good, an drive it around no problem, ut keep your hand near the handbrake until the new brake line gets installed! There is no rust to be seen anywhere, ncluding underneath, gain, ook at the pictures. It is still running on the old plugs and points and such, ou can give it a proper tuneup if you like, ut running very well as-is. There is a slight ding on the right front fender, ot very noticeable, ut see the picture. The chrome is very nice, he chrome headlights have a little pitting and scratching(from the hood being opened) but they still look good. The paint is well done, xcellent, hines very nicely, here are some chips and such here and there, othing that cannot be touched up. The convertable top works very well and is not rotten, nd there are side curtains in very good condition included, ut the clear windows on them are somewhat yellowed. Engine starting crank is clipped into the holder behind the seats, nd will start on the crank.
Wooden dash is beautiful, s is the period aftermarket wooden steering wheel. Lights and horn all work, ut the highbeam is out on one side. Tires are OK, here is some cracking on some of them, ut they all hold air. The wheels on one side of the car have some surface rust and can use repainting. There is also an unused leather hood strap included. This is not a project car...aside from a small leak in the brakes(which I will fix if the parts arrive in time, ut no guarantee) this is a running, riving car, hat presents beautfully as-is, ooks just great, ery tasteful color combination, nd not ratty at all in any way. You can come and see it in Franklin Lakes, ew Jersey to inspect if you like.I highly doubt you will find another in such original condition with such low mileage anywhere. And the price I am asking is a very good deal, oving on to another project.Depost due within 48 hours, ull payment within seven days, ash only, ickup within seven days, e can work with any shipper you have to send this car anywhere you like.
