1969 MG Other

You are bidding on a project MGC roadster. This is a very rare car made by MG to replace the absense of Austin Healey no longer making the 3000 6 cylinder car. MG thought they'd step up from building just 4 cylinder cars to produce a 6 cylinder car to fill the void of no more big Healeys. They only built 4544 roadsters and 4458 gt cars. only 1757 roadsters were built in 1969. ===================================================================================================== The history, s I know it of this car. My customer bought it from a woman 2 years ago with the intension of having it restored. With the economy down he held back having work done and now feels it's not to be so has asked me to sell it. Also he didn't want to start without a clear title. He purchased from a girl who's father took the car apart with the intension of restoring it for her. He got the body work pretty much done and ready to paint and then passed away. She had no way to finish the car. So she sold it to my customer. She never did give him the title. She told him she couldn't find it in the end. The car title hadn't been transfered to her name so no way to get another title. She had bought i, not running from a guy in Pa but had no info to find him if he could supply a title. She didn't remember it being a Pa title either. ===================================================================================================== The good points of this car is the body is very solid with only a bit of bondo showing in the doglegs. The floor has had 2 minor patchs done on it and a few small holes still in it. Very minor decay for these cars. The car is mostly complete with 2 extra engines. This is a 4 speed trans with overdrive vs being and automatic. The interrior will need to be restored but the seats are useable as is. A super restoration project for a person really wanting this rare car. Or a doner body for a person with a real rotten body. The car is being sold "as is" with no title. =================================================================================================== Please ask questions before bidding.
