Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very decent and attractive MGB Roadster that has been in storage for the last few years in Wisconsin. This car is believed to have it's correct original mileage showing as it's only a 2 or 3-owner vehicle, and has been sparingly used for the summer months only. It's finished in it's original and interesting colors of Damask Red with blue trim. It currently runs and drives but could use some brakes work and a minor service.The body on this car looks very good and honest. There's no rust-through noted anywhere on the car. Panel gaps look very good. Paintwork is most likely a single repaint from some years ago. It currently looks decently attractive with a semi-glossy look to it, although the sides have a bit more luster. It's nice looking overall from 5-10 feet. Brightwork is nice and original to the car. The windshield has been replaced and looks good. The car's underside is very solid with some flash surface rust on the front suspension area.The car's interior still retains it's original navy blue seat set, panel kit, and beautiful crack-free dashboard in mint condition. The black carpets look good and have been replaced at one point. The driver's seat could use a simple vinyl repair to the outside lower bolster area. The black soft top is in very good shape and fits the car well. The car still retains it's original black top boot and tonneau cover in excellent original condition. The trunk appears to be original paint and includes some spares, original jack, tonneau stirrups in bag, lug wrench, owner's manual.Mechanically, the car feels like it's original mileage. The engine starts easy on the key with little choke, revs well with great oil pressure and no smoke or noises. The gearbox goes into every gear with no fuss and feels strong and precise. Brakes are on the weak side and need some attention from sitting. The car could use a regular service and the tires checked. The engine sounds very healthy and robust through it's straight-through style glass-pack exhaust system. The car drives quite well out on the road. The clutch bites well and doesn't slip, although it is engaging high on the pedal travel. The engine bay is clean and tidy with good detailing, showing it's original paintwork.Overall, a very honest and low mileage MGB in nice colors. This car has recently come out of storage and drives decently. It's cosmetically attractive and approachable with it's semi-glossy older paintwork and mostly original interior. It needs very little to make it an enjoyable and reliable drive out on the road.
