Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this one owner MGA Roadster that was just purchased here in Long Beach, California. This car was purchased new in Nuffield, England direct from the factory and was shipped here Stateside, according to the older seller. This car appears to be originally finished in the unusual and attractive color of Glacier blue with grey trim, a very pretty color scheme for these cars. The car is still fitted with it's believed original engine.The body on this car is very solid, having lived here in Southern California for all of it's life. There's the usual dings and dents from being in storage a long time. Most chrome items have been removed and saved and are all the original items, easy to replate again. There's areas of it's original Glacier blue paint showing everywhere throughout the car. The front grille is excellent.The owner was attempting to restore the car and got as far as removing some items and rebuilding the original engine, and then reinstalling the long block back into the car. There's 3 large boxes full of all the mechanical and cosmetic parts removed, some new items, and even some extras like a carburetor set. The car's underside looks very solid overall and in great shape.Overall, this California car is an extremely good start to a super MGA roadster restoration. This straight, solid, and complete car has an excellent body overall and is well priced.
