1973 MGB that I'm listing for a friend. I will preface this by saying that it is a 10 footer but very presentable and perfectly fine to drive and be proud of as it is. That said; it's a great candidate for a restoration because it is straight and solid with no glaring issues. The interior other than the typical cracks in the top of dash, is very nice and original appearing other than a modern radio and speakers. The paint was done many years ago by the previous owner and although probably an amateur job, it's held up well and other than the 1 crack over the rear wheel there's nothing else that stands out for repair. As stated, the paint was done a long time ago and that crack doesn't appear to be rust that popped but rather like it took an impact as if a jack collapsed on to the tire or......
The car starts every time and immediate. Has a Weber single carb conversion. Engine runs smooth and smoke free. Exhaust is almost new and stainless from the downpipe back. All wheels will be included, the original wires(in need of refinish). I think the wheels on the car are "minilite" look by Minator in England and very cool in that they're still center splined. I suppose they are somewhat rare as I haven't seen them on another MG unless they were lugged look alike. She drives down the road straight and brakes well without shudder or shimmy.
Convertible top is decent although he only put it up for the pictures because it's off the car as it never goes out in the rain. The boot is excellent and it will also come with a full tonneau cover.
