1980 MG MGB

Up for auction is a 1980 MG B that was purchased and made to look like 1967 MG B. The entire vehicle newly painted a dark British racing green; New beige leather convertible top installed; interior has brand new carpeting and genuine British leather seats. Front and rear bumpers were changed to chrome and side of car chrome added; Wheels changed to chrome wire knock off wheels; The suspension was lowered; Genuine wood steering wheel and shift knob installed; All side markers and reverse lights were removed and the brake lights were changed to all red (just like the 1967 MG B’s).
This car is a looker!!!! 67 looks with the benefits of an 80’s car (better brakes, suspension, electric, seat belts, etc) and Rust free. Garage kept, driven 3 times a week and never ever has seen or felt snow or rain.
Under the hood, the engine was modded with a Weber carb and the horsepower sucking emissions system removed. Full spare chrome knock off tire in the trunk. Modern radio with CD player and hidden speakers installed. Also a wind guard installed that you can raise to stop wind blowing behind you. Also heat shield padding installed when the new carpeting and seats were installed which makes car quieter and sheiks your body (especially legs) from engine heat. New high end radiator installed.
I love this car. Jersey shore and New Hope trips were a blast. But just had a child born and ill never be able to use this 2 seater the way it should With a newborn and a wife fighting for the passenger seat.
I invested over $25000 in this car. This car is is in great condition and worth up to $30000 and will be worth more as the years go by. There is s reserve of only $20000. Good luck bidding.
