In their day, n England, hese cars were known as ‘the poor man’s Aston Martin’ and, n this car’s case, really special higher performance GT.

Engine: a professionally installed 150hp modified 2.8 liter Ford Capri engine, bbl carb, ustom headers, osch alternator, ree flow exhaust, uns very well, ulls stronglythrough the rev range, uns cool, o vibrations or banging, eels ‘factory.’

Which, f course, t isn’t. But with more than 50% more power than a stock B. Rebuilt Mustang II 4 speed transmission and narrowed (VERY strong) Ford back axle…with its 3.09 final drive, akes a 5th gear redundant……cruises quietly at 2,500 rpm at 60 mph.

Excellent body with very good Blaze red paint, eautiful Webasto fabric sunroof, ery clean interior, xcellent floor pan, lean engine bay, 5”modular alloy wheels with 185/70 radials, as shocks, ew windshield and seal, il cooler, igh output electric cooling fan, ew Sony stereo/CD with USB input.

All in all, wonderful classic that has a lot of performance, xcellent ride and handling, precise ‘feel’ and easily maintained and serviced.
