Description:

1946 MG T-Series 2-door roadster

Recent factory trials car restoration/rebuild tribute. Early model: VIN "TC 0480," translates as the 229th TC built at Abingdon. Registered as FUP 822 in Grimsby UK, in 1946. New body tub and new paint; period-correct modifications include cycle fenders, alfin brakes, coffin valve cover, XK 120 headlight lenses, plinth-type aero screens, J-2 Midget seats, engine-turned dash, knobby tires - plus curtains, top, tonneau, more. Extra pair (2) of wire wheels, each boxed by manufacturer. New water pump, new hoses, new speedo cable, new brake shoes and newly serviced e-brake all within the past 30 days, to ensure safety and to prompt sale. Garaged and daily-driven to work for exactly four miles round-trip for the past fifteen years. Shown at car event last month: plenty of attention, history of MG GOF event participation. Actual mileage estimated. 1940's style and performance, not perfection...but Safety Fast!
Also available and for sale separately is a newly rebuilt Shorrock supercharger, ready for installation, but some engine mods to strengthen bottom-end will be needed first. Inquire for details.
