1973 MG Midget

This is a very special MG Midget. It was built from the ground up 12 years ago by a friend of mine who owns a British Restoration Shop. He built it to drive and enjoy. After driving it for 6 years he sold to another friend of mine who built it to use as a high speed touring car for vintage events. When he did this he rebuilt the suspension firmer with a 1 inch drop. He also built a semi comp engine for it. It was originally a 1275cc engine that was punched out to 1380cc. It has a hot cam, a flowed head, header, lightened flywheel, and a Weber 40 DCOE and a lot more. Also it has been converted to a Datsun 5-speed with a Rivergate kit. This is great deal and would cost much much more to build. Perfect? heck no. Its a 40 year car and has been used, but its still in very good shape. there are some small scratches, small chips etc. 2nd gear syncro is weak on downshifts, but other than that, its in great shape.
