Excellent original engine, perfect compression and oil pressure, no smoke, excellent gearbox, wire wheels, maroon with deep maroon leather interior, excellent chrome, just installed a new cloth covered wiring harness, new smaller wood steering wheel, and some minor detailing.

NOT a concours restoration but a superb driver certainly suitable for low key show AND road use. Alas, 'perfect' cars always have one glaring deficiency....can't be used and enjoyed. 'Cause if they are....the 'perfect' part disappears rather quickly.

From the outside, the car appears to be nearly new. Same under the bonnet, inside the interior, with its expensive tan cloth top and tonneau. An absolutely stunning car and THE car to have in an MG collection. The very last MG to ever have an MG based engine....the next model, the MGA, used an Austin based B series engine of similar displacement.

As with any good TF, precise steering, superb ride and handling, as a '1500' with is 1460cc XPEG engine, lively performance. All in all, the perfect warm weather classic sports car and quite rare with only 3400 built.
