Description:

1967 Mercury Cougar XR7

This is a 289 with a T5 Mustang trans.conversion, any new parts including Lakewood trac. bars, ew Cragar SS mags, alve covers, attery, tarter and relay, urst shifter, lowmaster headers, ush Thrush mufflers (exhaust new front to back), ew front shocks and springs, ie rod ends, tarter and battery cables, runk mat kit. The floor and trunkpans are rock solid. The turn signals work but the original mechanism makes a little noise. Headlight covers go up but sometimes need to be pushed back down. This car runs and shiftsexcellent and is a real headturner. She does not burn or leak oil AT ALL! Brakes are good and are manual drum and steering is also manual. The interior is very good with no rips or tears in seats or dash cover, ll glass is good. It has one weak door hinge on drivers side and one sort of weak hood spring, oth of which are very common. There is no heater core and it came from the factory that way because it was shipped to San Antonio, X region where they figured it wouldn't be needed. Making room for a new project coming in. I can text some additional pix but don't currently have them on my computer. Thanks and happy bidding!
