Description:

1978 Mercury Grand Marquis

1978 Mercury Gran Marquis Brougham sedan. 31,657 actual miles, oaded with all the factory options that year, ncluding 6-way double power seats, limate control, ower antenna, M/FM 8-track stereo, ender skirts, riginal never used full size spare. It even has the original tires, hich are not weather checked or flat spotted. The car is totally original and has always been garaged and pampered. The original owner, ho I purchased it from, ought it new off Dan Johnson Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership in Eau Claire WI. Shortly after he retired, e told me that he was just driving past the dealership and saw the car on the showroom floor, t got the better of him and he ended up leaving with it. He told me it was the color and the options that made it for him, hich is still true today. He always took care of the car and drove it sparingly. I grew up when these cars were new and am kind of crazy for them, nd anyone else who did as well will see this car and know the difference. I also have paperwork from new and sets of extra keys. Everything on the car works, ight down to the clock. The paint is original, nd pretty well mint, he vinyl top is on similar conditions with no fading or tears. The chrome and stainless is also very nice but with one spot on the lower middle of the front bumper, here is a ding and a small scrape. These bumpers are very accessible and can be acquired for around $300, f you would like that done, ersonally, wanted to remain original because it's not that noticeable. If you have any questions, ust ask and I will do my best to answer them. I will also try and help with shipping if you are a considerable distance away.
