This Cougar is a fine example of a classic Luxury Coupe! This car is in great shape for it's age. It has a 351 Modified (Similar to the Cleveland) V8 with tons of torque. The Ford Motor Company rated this at 18 MPG on the highway according to the owner's manual. The original C4 Automatic has 50 miles on a full rebuild with a Nationwide warranty. Other new parts include the starter, tarter solenoid, attery, lternator, oltage regulator, elts, ap, otor, lugs, ires, as tank and all 4 tires. The center caps are not on the wheels in the pictures, ut I do have them in the trunk. Original 8 track radio, ruise Control, ll lights, orn, nd even the door buzzer all work! This car drives perfectly and I would trust it to drive anywhere today. Receipts for the new parts including the transmission are included to show applicable warranties (Except the tires because I misplaced it). This car is a lot of fun to drive and is constantly getting compliments. You can not beat the comfort of this car!
Items that need attention (Full disclosure):
Right front turn signal lense is broken (I'm trying to locate one, nd it will be replaced if possible before the auction is over)
XR7 badge is missing from the trunk lid
Small tear in the Driver's seat
Both interior door pulls are cracked
Paint is faded, nd has minor scuffs, ut in great shape for the age.
These are all very minor cosmetic blemishes, ut I don't want anyone to be disappointed.
