Up for auction is a absolutely stunning 1965 Mercury Comet Caliente Convertible with 79,000 original miles.

This is a extremely rare factory equipped Comet with a (A Code) 289/225 Horse Power 4 barrel, posi traction rear, power steering, power top, am radio, wire wheel covers.

Vehicle has had a full restoration on a original car.

The paint is absolutely beautiful as well as the body panel fitment. Vehicle is solid and rust free.

The interior is in pristine condition.

The top is in good shape but there is two minor tears in each side that have had a patch from the inside see pictures.

Vehicle runs and drives extremely well and vehicle can be driven ant distance with confidence.

Vehicle has new tires, battery, brakes, wheel cylinders, exhaust. Vehicle may need for new emergency cables installed. I ordered them but havent received them as of yet and may not have time to have them installed by the end of auction.

The 1965 is a one year only body style with is one of the nicest years in my opinion. This Comet is stunning in this color combination and it gets a lot of attention and complements every time its driven.
