1977 Mercury Grand Marquis

Selling one of the last great Land Yachts. Take her for a cruise. Rare Light Jade Metallic Mercury Grand Marquis with 460 CI engine . Green Leather and cloth interior. AM/FM Stereo radio. AC, Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. 5 new whitewall heavy load radial tires. New shocks. New OEM Vinyl Top. Rebuilt Ford 4 barrel carb. New rear brake drums and new rear brake linings. New spark plugs, wires, rotor and rotor cap. New battery and new battery cables. Fresh oil and filter. Needs AC charge. Electric aerial is not working. New one installed but not wired yet. I'll try to get to it before sale, but selling as not working at this point. Paint is ten footer at best. One respray prior to my purchase with base/clear coat. Some bubbling and peeling. Can be salvaged but needs attention. Some of the bright moldings appear to have been damaged when removed for painting. See representative pictures. If keeping I would install a new exhaust system. The pipes are rusty and the muffler is getting loud. The original carpets are showing their age and I would change them too if keeping the car. The carpet floor mats are new and look great. The dash was cracked and has been covered with a nice green vinyl. Not OEM, but looks good. Digital tumbler clock not working - needs repair. Seller assured me the mileage was correct at 16,000 about two years ago. I can't be sure and I doubt it. Mechanically there is absolutely no oil leaks or weeps and the transmission shifts as it should. The pedals don't show wear like a 116,000 mile car. I really don't know. Assume 116,000, but maybe it really is 16,000! The car is located 1 hour south of the famous Carlisle PA auto shows and can be seen and inspected. I can take any pictures you might want to see. I value my 100% rating on EBAY and want to be fully accurate in my description. The car still needs work, but is mechanically sound.
