We are excited to offer for sale here at Collectable Cars this 1956 Mercury Medalist. These cars are hard to find as '56 was the only year for the Medalist. The car is in fabulous condition for it's age without a recent restoration. It rides and drives like new, cruise 70 with two fingers on the wheel in the comfort of aftermarket under dash air conditioning, and radio in the glove box. Everything on this car is in the original style with the exception of the a/c, and an added fuel cell in the truck. The fuel cell actually feeds into the original tank, it could be removed but is actually very handy, so we left it. It does have a few cracks and chips in the paint, but really looks stunning as a driver. The interior is all original style. Sitting in this car takes you back to 56, cruise down memory lane. The engine is reported to have been rebuilt and runs perfect. Pump the gas twice on cold starts, otherwise just a turn of the key and it fires right up.
