H, , You are looking at as close to rust free of a survivor car as you will probably ever se, one of the pics shows 4 little holes in the driver's side floor pa, and they are on the upper edge of the reinforcement lin, so I think they may have been screw hole, I have been hanging on to this car for many year, to bring it back t, Better than new " restoratio, bu, I can't put off back surgery any longe, the pain started to get bad 6 months ag, ( although the break happened 1-24 -80 ) I live with being uncomfortable . In order to be off work for 3 month, I need to sell off a few of my toys . This car was use, for a short time as a bracket ca, and in doing s, someone tried to do a trans brak, they must have put a ball where it was not supposed to b, becaus, it will take of, " like a bat outta hell' but when it shifts into second , it is like hitting the brake, , s, even though the trans may be fixabl, we will just say it needs a trann, I have a spare that can be installe, The Bad ; the stitching on the seats are coming apar, as is the headline, it has an aftermarket full view ?? JC WHitne, panoram, rear view mirro, though the windshield is cracke, the rest of the glass is in great shap, a Grant steering whee, baby moons that were great when I put them on 7 years ag, along with tires that are now weather checked . the Good: the car is totally origina, with original pain, upholster, all the trim is in the trunk with a few extra piece, there is slight damage to one piece of side tri, that can easily be straightened and polishe, ( I do stainless Resto, I purchased a nearly perfec, original steering whee, ( included ) The engine is not origina, but runs goo, ( it was a 260 car) . But the fuel system and all system, for that matter, should be cleaned up , There is no rust in the rocker, or lower fender, the rear quarters are goo, but the driver rear had a small job done to it many years ag, and has some Bondo in i, I sanded it down a bit a few years ag, and did not put enough paint over the bare meta, and it has some surface rus, the quarter damage could probably be metal finishe, by a good body man . and the front right bumped into somethin, so the fender metal will need a bit of straightenin, but I have a replacement for the pot metal trim part fender extension . truly a time capsule ca, in great shape to begin a projec, with original key, and clear Montana title, last changed hands in '91, last licensed in 2003
