Description:

1981 Mercury Other

This 1981 is all original except the wheels. It has the 6cyl automatic trans with just under 62,000 original miles. It runs and drives great. Does not leak or smoke. It has had a new full tune up, new brakes front and rear, all fluids changed. Tires are almost new and the car has been lowered about 1 1/2in all around. everything works as it should except the ac. It does blow but not cold so I believe it just needs recharged. Interior is in fantastic shape as you can see. There is a crack on the dash but it has a dash mat and the headliner fell so it was removed but the backing is in place and in great shape so it will be easy to recover. The exterior is in fantastic shape. there is some cracking on the vinyl tops and as you can see there is a crack in the paint on the passenger side wheel well. there are also a couple dents but they are hard to see in the white paint, which should tell you that they are not bad at all.

A little history on the car, it was originally purchased from Bob Foss Lincoln Mercury here in Colorado Springs. The original owner passed away and left it to her grandson which is where my friend purchased it. My friend is believed to be the 3rd owner of the car. I bought it from him to help him financially and I am putting up for sale because I cannot keep it indoors to help preserve its beauty. With that being said it is still in my friends name and title is signed and clear.
