1950 Mercury Other
Listing for a friend who is the second owner of this mostly original driver. It has the original 255 110hp flathead with an ignitor ignition. Behind that a s10 t5 manual clutch went in after the original overdrive transmission became inoperable. There is a stack of original ND registrations in the car from the original owner til it was parked. My friend is not a show and shine kind of owner. He drove this car. A lot. Typically 2000+ miles a season, most summer days, 30 mile round trips to work, weekends cruising back roads in lakes country, to Minneapolis from fargo, car runs and cruises, and just recently to a swap meet 75 miles away on the interstate. This car typically didn't skip a beat and ran like a singer. The body is there, pics determine condition, has its floors and trunk, some dings, driver door on the bottom. but, it also has a long list of extra and original?extra parts that the owner is intending on including with the car for the sale price: 7 doors, trunk lid, 2 right fenders, front bumper with the over riders, stock grille, 3 sets of trim, 5 original mercury wheels, hood ornament and numerous misc spares like door handles etc. The owner had removed some trim from the hood and trunk, installed a claw trunk latch, and made a grille out of 55 ford bumper parts, but anything done to it can be undone. The owner was hoping for an offer on the car with all the extra parts, but for shipping purposes and costs, also will consider offers selling the car separately. I have some pictures and videos, and will be able to get serious buyers in touch with the current owner. the car is for sale locally, buyer is responsible for making shipping arrangements once funds have cleared, we will do what we can to assist, but ultimately this is the buyers responsibility.
