This Cougar is an excellent example of a rare supercharged XR7. Mercury only equipped the XR7 with the supercharged 3.8 for two years. This is an original and beautiful survivor. The paint shows really well and as far as I can tell is original. The mileage is 82,000 and the condition makes it clear that they are easy miles. The interior is in excellent condition with only a few flaws. There is one crack in the dash pad, a small cigarette burn in driver's seat, and the information center housing is broken. The pics should show these flaws. The pics will also show just how nicely optioned and clean this cougar is. Besides being babied its entire life, the previous owner spent a lot of money on this car. There are a stack of detailed receipts with the car that document all of the repairs. Those repairs include but are not limited to: a complete tuneup, new ball joints and tie rod ends, new tires and brakes all around, new aluminum radiator, and a freshly rebuilt transmission with less than 20 miles on it. It runs and drives as new. The supercharged six is quiet and powerful. There is no rust anywhere on this car, including the undercarriage.
