1971 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL, ools, ooks, ecords going back many years.
Just back from a 2500 miles trip with my wife.
The Mercedes 3.5 V8 engine was a great engine, otally alive and powerful. Expensive to build.
Transmission shifts excellent. Car is a pleasure to drive and gets attention.
The L stands for long, he rear passengers have a lot of room.
The engine, ire harness and more parts are the same as the sought after 280SEL 3.5 Coupe and Convertible.
New leather front seats from World Upholstery and leather backseats in excellent condition.
Original paint with minor touch ups, o collision damage.
No body rust apparent.
Some separation of the finish on the wood along front window. Wood itself is intact. Some minor wear of wood veneer on driver door window.
Interior in general is in excellent condition.
Glue staining in original headliner above passenger backseat.
Chrome throughout in excellent condition.
Carpets in excellent condition.
Has original aluminum sun screening for all sides and back window which are in excellent condition.
All new air springs, ne new main ride height control valve, nd new rear ride height valve.
New mufflers and tires.
Engine compartment is clean, as not been detailed. Is in original condition.
Air conditioning performs well.
Runs and drives very well. The non working Cruise control has been removed
