1981 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300TD-T

I had purchased 2 Turbo Diesels at an Estate Sale with the intentions of restoring both the Sedan Now Sold and This Wagon. My Wife and I were going to have them as daily drivers, but she likes to ski and wants to keep her Passat Wagon 4 motion, and honestly I like the Modern Convenienceof my SUV. I already have a classic car I have owned since the 1980's and paying insurance on 7 cars (Daughter in College with a car too) is adding up, even with Classic Insurance on 3. The Sedan I listed and sold after purchasing it and investing time and money, the Turbo failed. So here is the 1981 Mercedes Ben 300 TD Wagon that comes with all the books and even the original Dealer Tags and Becker Radio Tool. I can see that the wagon needs some body and paint..it's pretty much confined to the rear wheel well areas near the rockers. The Floors and Frame are good, Body is pretty straight I have a complete New In The Box replacement exhaust and two spare front fenders. There was a tapping/knock in the motor as I have been told may be caused by a bad injector or injectors, and needing probably a diesel purge and all the fluids should be changed. It will need tires as they look pretty old and two are flat. Also a new battery. I would unplug the sunroof drain tubes, they put clear silicone around the sunroof very neat and clean thinking that would fix it but most of us who know Mercedes know that isn't the fix. I have a car cover over it. You can either restore it or use a lot of good parts that are left. I drove it about 100 miles to my house and It got here fine. I would like to get what I paid for the wagon and registering and titling it. Still wearing the Connecticut Classic Car plates. As Is No Warranty All Sales Final.
