GENERAL OVERVIEW...if you are looking for a very solid bodied SL with proven southern origination (see original Atlanta dealer price sticker images) that drives great and looks great...look no further. Very handsome in its original color Anthracite Grey Metallic basecoat/clearcoat paint and new tan cloth top. Inside the car, he famed Nardi wood-rimmed steering wheel and Sony AM-FM-CD audio unit are nice upgrades.

The car is a true pleasure to drive...smooth, owerful, uiet exhaust system. Even after 30 years, ou know this was an expensive car that was very well engineered. Of course, here have also been advancements in the past three decades, o be realistic in your expectations. For instance, odern rack & pinion steering is extremely precise, nd this Mercedes has a recirculating ball steering box of a much older design with a bit of the familiar (to vintage classic car owners) "play" common to older cars.

The car needs nothing to enjoy driving, ut the AC is not working, he horn button needs a little "encouragement" to work, nd the clock, dometer, indshield washer are inoperative.
